We’re looking for a brilliant contract Product Manager.
At Comma, our mission is to remove the pain from payments. Our vision is to create a step change in how payments are made by small businesses - to make money move faster through the whole supply chain.
Comma is an open banking bulk payment system. It handles the boring but important stuff - bills, salaries, and taxes. We get to market through bookkeepers and accountants by enabling payment services. This helps small and micro businesses who don't have access to corporate banking.
We're looking for a highly skilled Product Manager, who shares our vision for a better payments experience for small businesses.
What you'll do:
With no red tape, you will have the autonomy to get things done, building the product out the right way as we look to scale. You will define the strategy through research, data and results driven processes. We’re looking for a self-starter who can deal with ambiguity and is able to adapt to changing circumstances; deciding what to do and then just doing it.
You will have involvement across everything from talking to customers to running a backlog. In addition, having influence over crucial technical decisions on the direction of the product, covering pricing decisions and market fit. You’ll have exposure to all sides of the business, inside and out as we define the product roadmap and turn it into reality.
What you’ll achieve:
- Develop our understanding of current and potential customers and their needs. Use this insight to pick the right problems to solve and create the most meaningful value.
- Understand the business objectives, the competitive landscape and relevant industry trends, and use this to help drive our strategy.
- Work collaboratively with engineering, design and across the business to solve problems, validate solutions and deliver them.
- Develop and monitor clear performance metrics, setting objectives and tracking progress against them in transparent, measurable ways.
We’re building a company for smart people to grow, and make things they’re proud of. If you want to be part of that, get in touch.
Comma is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all sections of society. We believe that diversity makes us a stronger team so seek to employ people with different ideas, styles and skill sets, each able to contribute in unique ways to our organisation’s growth and success.
